The King Bees are a Blues ensemble that share love for the golden era of the early fifties blues sound made popular by Blues men such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter, BB King among others. They play RJR fronted by the outstanding voice of neighbourhood Bluesman Remi Banklyn and invite you on a journey of discovery of the roots of western music.

Bankyln’s repertoire is a time machine, transporting audiences from the gritty streets of 1940s Chicago to the soul-stirring rhythms of the 1960s.

Remi has opened for names such as Cedric Burnside (grandson of R.L Burnside) & Mudd Morganfield ( Eldest son of Muddy Waters) whom the band's drummer Loris has had the pleasure to play several times.
