The Prosaics

Spotify | Youtube | Website

From the bleak, industrial seaside towns of Medway, Al Williams and his mechanical orchestra of antique synthesisers, together make The Prosaics; performing humorously Pulp-esque lyrics to an 8-bit beat. Wry, scornful and cripplingly English- The Prosaics is a witty solution to vacuous pop.
The Prosaics' songs are far from prosaic. In fact, he's hardly prosaic at all…
For fans of: LookMumNoComputer, The Postal Service, Jack Stauber, Gorillaz, The Smiths, Martin L Gore (Depeche Mode), John Maus, La Roux, Nick Cave, Portishead & Jarvis Cocker.

Ivor has been performing his short acoustic songs across London, the UK, Ireland and beyond for a long while now, releasing albums and singles along the way. His 2022 LP "Fine Summer Rain" received some lovely airplay, including BBC6 Music, and his songs have been celebrated in different ways such as "Highbury" being broadcast at The Arsenal Emirates Stadium, "Happy New Year" often played at The London New Years Day parade from Westminster to Piccadilly and in music therapy too.

Everything in Mono

Everything in Mono are a band of four 16-18s fronted by a pair of brothers who get on far better than the Gallaghers.

This year, they were finalists in The Basement Door All-London Battle of the Bands, and since forming last October have honed an authentic, fresh live act and an original sound. Known particularly for inventive covers which transform the song and give it their own vibe this set will be a celebration of their original material.

Compound Radius

Among the rare positives to emerge from the Covid pandemic in 2020 were Compound Radius, a thrilling upcoming London Band, blending rock, funk, folk, soul, electronica, metal, Sanskrit mantras, and world music. Arnab Datta, aka Radius, is their lead singer, lead guitarist, and composer whose songs are multilingual. The vibe of the music is essentially alternative rock with experimental infusions of different genres offering interesting and impactful melodies.
