THE SPEAKEASY PARTY: Remi Banklyn and the King Bees

Regulars at The Blues Kitchen & Ain’t Nothing But Blues Bar this amazing group play RJR's iconic stage for the first time.

The Speakeasy Party welcomes this outrageously talented ensemble playing 50's Blues at Kingston's notorious Saturday night event.

The King Bees are a Blues ensemble that share love for the golden era of the early fifties blues sound made popular by Blues men such as Muddy Waters, Jimmy Rogers, Little Walter, BB King among others.

They play RJR fronted by the outstanding voice of neighbourhood Bluesman Remi Banklyn and invite you on a journey of discovery of the roots of western music.

Remi has opened for names such as Cedric Burnside (grandson of R.L Burnside) & Mudd Morganfield ( Eldest son of Muddy Waters) whom the band's drummer Loris has had the pleasure to play several times.
