Cain and Able

Formed in 2022 to make catchy pop tunes with one foot in the tradition of the 70s singer songwriter, and the other foot in 90s guitar based nostalgia, the songs of Cain and Able mix dark themes with uplifting melodies and sing-along choruses.  Cain, a sceptic brought up in a family of psychics,  writes songs about contacting the dead, UFO’s and faith, paranoia, the threat of war and politicians who lie compulsively.

They are based in London and consist of Cain Allan (Guitar and Vocals), Carla Terry (Vocals), Chris Terry (Keyboard and Production).

Long time RJR friends fronted by singer/ guitarist Amora. All of their material is improvised and can be anything from Blues Rock to R&B, so it’ll be as much of a treat for them to experiment and play as it will be for you to hear.

The Ruins

Located in Guildford, The Ruins are an alternative rock/grunge band that actively strives to take inspiration from 90s grunge/emo revival. They created our group through ACM and take up our time writing and composing original music that portrays the rhythmics of shoegaze/alternative rock. While adding interesting covers to mix up their songs, they bring passion and power through their original songs.

Iconic speakeasy Ram Jam Records is hidden away behind the award winning Smok’d pub at The Grey Horse Kingston ( and yes we serve all their award winning food and drink).

If you would like to book a table please contact the venue at greyhorse@smokd.co.uk and specify you would like to be seated in Ram Jam Records or put this in the notes on your online booking.
