Classically trained, Jamie operates primarily in the classical crossover subgenre, with his main inspirations coming from composers such as Ludovico Einaudi, Yanni, Yiruma, Nils Frahm, and Nobuo Uematsu, along with the minimalism of John Adams and melodic fragmentation of Sigur Ros. By focusing on the quality of the harmony and melody in his pieces, and abandoning lyrics, Jamie tries to create an alluring musical vision which speaks more directly to the listener.

Jamie is a versatile musician with a postgraduate degree in composition for film and TV. Career highlights include twice playing for the Mayor & Mayoress of Epsom & Ewell at the Epsom Playhouse, the Twining family, and a particularly memorable wedding at The Dorchester. Jamie is always open to collaboration, and has already worked with local musicians such as Lydia Baines, Scott Freeman and the Tokyo Sex Whales, Morning Crush, Thom Worth, Declan Coker, Michael Alexander.

Sad Swans was released in April 2023 with the launch at The Half Moon, Putney, whilst Jamie's debut album Chaise Longue was launched in October 2019 at Ram Jam Records, Kingston.
