THE SPEAKEASY PARTY: The mighty lo-fi kings

Rockin' low-fi Blues fit for a true juke joint. A new band made up of Blues legends play The Speakeasy Party, emphasis on the PARTY!

Fronted by two wildly talented and very charismatic icons of the scene, we are pretty stoked to welcome The Mighty Lo-Fi Kings as their latest releases make waves. After The Band just got signed by cult label WILD Records of Hollywood, California they managed to fit RJR in their diary. And if you know anything about our friend Little Victor, you know it's gonna be an unmissable party!

The Mighty Lo-Fi Kings are a new cool rockin' outfit fronted by legendary Little Victor Mac (vocals, guitar, and harp) and Rob Glazebrook (vocals and guitar), guaranteed to knock your socks off. Their rhythm section is composed of great veteran Orlando Shearer (upright and electric bass) and Nick Simonon (drums).

The band plays a blend of old-school rockin' Blues, and black Rock n Roll, mixing obscure covers and original numbers. They formed shortly before the pandemic and after 18 long months of lockdowns, they started to play again, performing at selected venues and international festivals such as the Rockin' Race and the Rhythm Riot. The strong chemistry on stage between Victor (a hardcore Blues guy at heart that started his long career playing 50's rock and roll) and Rob (a well-known 50's rock and roll and rockabilly troubadour who also loves vintage Blues music) always seems to hit the spot.
