Mississippi MacDonald is a 3 times British Blues Awards nominee and has traveled extensively on the US blues trail, meeting, among others, Pinetop Perkins, Willie Big Eyes Smith, Otis Clay and BB King. His 2023 release Heavy State Loving Blues has once again sealed him as one of the greatest new Blues musicians in the UK.
