Crack Comedy's MC Stand-Up Workshop - Evening Special Join us at Crack Comedy for our MC Workshop.

What turns a group of strangers into an audience? It all starts with the compere (MC). They are the ones who get to leap on stage in front of a cold, room of full of people.

Being a great MC requires all the elements of being a stand-up plus an even greater responsibility for the whole of the show.

They are the bridge between the comedians and the audience.

They make the difference between a good night a great one.

The course will:

  • Explain and breakdown the job of the MC

  • Tricks and best practises to creating the best atmosphere for the audience and the comedians

  • Discuss the best ways to talk to the audience and how to avoid common pitfalls

  • Cover the big question: Do I do material?

  • Each workshop will be capped at 12 partcipants.
