Playing music from the greats; Ray Charles, Fats Domino, Louis Jordan, Dr. John and many more, Blue Gumbo got together after supporting Jools Holland on numerous occasions at The Jamhouse bar and restaurant in Birmingham, which Jools and his band play regularly.

Adrian Dixon, singer and pianist, has toured with Bad Manners, worked alongside the 80’s soul band Freeez and shared the stage with some great players including Eddie Floyd, Sherman Robertson and Ray Davies, to name a few!

Neil Bullock, on drums, has worked with Chaka Khan, Beverly Knight, BBC Big Band, Jean Toussaint, John Etheridge, Kenny Thomas.

Rob Rickenberg, on upright bass, was a regular with The Jive Aces. He’s also shared the stage with Diana Krall, Will Gaines and Blue Harlem. Recently Rob has been working on the revival of 5 Guys Named Mo! in London’s west end.

They are joined by a special guest on Sax.
