Blacklock & Brown
Expect the bluesier end of country, with occasional jaunts into bluegrass territory.
B&B originated in the Sculpture Workshops of Wimbledon College of Art, where they both were gainfully employed. They then were a significant part of the exceptionally well regarded country band, Country Dirt.
They resurfaced after that hard working band from South London split up, reluctant to let go of the spirit they had created.
They both play a variety of instruments around the guitar/banjo basis of their work, including mandolin, harmonicas, slide and steel guitars, as well as the occasional outing of cigar-box guitars.
